The Story Behind SureHoof
My name is Brylee Goldsworthy, founder of SureHoof NZ and a horse owner based in Taranaki.
After moving to Taranaki in 2022, I quickly experienced what many New Zealand horse owners know all too well — high rainfall combined with heavy-use areas turning gateways and yards into deep, persistent mud.
I tried multiple DIY footing solutions. I researched a range of commercially available matting products. But nothing delivered a long-term, practical result that truly held up in real-world conditions.
